Volleyball - 2014

A first-team All-League volleyball star at Grant High School in 1981 and 1982, Steve Stovitz led Grant to League championships from 1980 to 1982, and L.A. City runner-up in 1982.

He was named Mid-Valley MVP as a junior and senior. He also captained Grant’s varsity basketball League Championship team in 1982.

In 1988, Stovitz’s team won the Italian Professional Volleyball Championship in Ostia, Italy. Same year, as head coach of Coach of College of William & Mary’s women’s volleyball, he was named ‘NCAA Division Regional Coach of the Year’.
In 1985 and 1989, he was a member of the U.S. Maccabiah Games Volleyball Team.
