Steinberg, Craig

Golf - 2008

Craig Steinberg is one of America’s premiere amateur golfers. The 4-time Southern California Golf Association Amateur champion (1988, 1991, 1992, 1997), and two-time S.C.G.A. Mid-America title-holder (1996 and 2001), has competed in 23 U.S.G.A. National Championships.

The Oak Park attorney also captured Pasadena City Men’s Amateur titles in 1994 and 2001, and the 1998 Los Angeles City Championship.

At the University of Southern California, Steinberg reached the California State Amateur quarter-finals at Pebble Beach in 1979 and 1980, and won the Pac-10 Conference individual championship in 1980. He was awarded a berth on the 1980 Pac-10 All-Conference First Team, and N.C.A.A. All-America Second Team.
