Table Tennis - 1998

Paul Raphel won the United States Junior Table Tennis Championship in 1973, at the age of 16. In 1975 and 1977, he was a member of the U.S. National Team, representing the United States at the World Championships in London and Calcutta, India. In 1978, Raphel won the California State Triples title.

Los Angeles-born, Paul attended Shenandoah Elementary School, and Hamilton and Pacific Hills High Schools. As a youngster, he was a Westside Center regular.
