Libby, Bill

Pillar of Achievement - 2004

The late Bill Libby was one of America’s most prolific sports authors. Born in Atlantic City, New Jersey, he lived in and worked out of Los Angeles‘ Westminster community from 1960 until his death in 1984.

* Bill Libby contributed profusely to numerous publications and was named National Magazine Sportswriter of the Year in 1964.
