Basketball - 2022

Daisy Feder was the Ocean League MVP and All-CIF player from Santa Monica High School where she led her basketball team to four straight Ocean titles as a top combo guard, and was also an outstanding high jumper for the track team — making CIF every year. She attended UC San Diego where she led the Tritons to four NCAA appearances, including an NCAA West Regional Championship appearance in 2012, won four CCAA regular season conference title championships and led the Tritons to their first ever CCAA Tournament Championship in 2013. Daisy was a three-time all CCAA First Team (2010-11, 2011-12, and 2012-13), an All-American Honorable Mention (2012-13), Daktronics West Region First Team (2011-12, and 2012-13), and the CCAA Conference Player of the Year (2013). She earned back-to-back UC San Diego Athlete of the Year honors in 2012 and 2013. She scored over 1,500 points in her college career while boasting career averages of nearly 12 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4 assists per game from her combo guard position for the Tritons. She led the CCAA in free throw percentage (.850), three-pointers made (89), and three-pointers/game (2.7). Daisy ranks in the top 10 all-time in the UCSD women’s basketball record books; first in games played, first in 3-point field goals made in a single season, second in total 3-point field goals made, second in free throws made, fourth in total points scored, fifth in total field goals made, and 10th in total assists. Having been an Ethnic Studies major in college, she graduated with honors and was a member of the 2012-2013 Academic All District Team. Following graduation, Daisy played five years of professional basketball in Israel, winning one Israeli League Cup Championship and playing in three league finals as a top shooting guard. After retiring as an active player, she became a graduate assistant for the women’s basketball program at Loyola-Marymount University. She was then promoted to the Director of Basketball Operations while completing her Master’s degree in Education Studies. She was promoted to an Assistant Coach in the spring of 2021.
