Faust, Leland

Water Polo - 2004

A champion swimmer at Beverly Hills High, University of California, Berkeley, and Harvard graduate school.

* High School All-League Water Polo in 1962 and 1963, and Southern Section ACIF in 1963.
* Led Harvard to consecutive titles in 1969, 1970, 1971, and was named MVP of the 1970 New England Championships.
* Won the San Francisco Bay Alcatraz Swim three times, and was twice, 1972 and 1973, the winner in record times of the San Francisco Golden Gate Swim.
* Member of the 1965 and 1973 USA Maccabiah gold medal Water Polo teams.
* Named to The Sporting News annual list of “The 100 Most Powerful People in the Sports Industry” in 1994.
