Enfield, Mike

Soccer - 2011

From Ventura, California to Sydney, Australia, Mike Enfield has wowed soccer fans as a high-scoring midfielder. Enfield first burst onto the soccer scene at Ventura High School, earning All-CIF honors twice and All-Channel League recognition for each of his four years. As a senior, he was hailed as both a Parade magazine and NCSAA All-American, and as the SchoolSports.com Player of the Year. He was the top scorer on the United States U-18 National team that won the International tournament in Lisbon, Spain.

As a member of the USA Men’s Soccer Youth National Team Under 17 & Under 20 squads from 1999-2002, Enfield led all goal scorers for under 18s in all competitions, and finished with 15 Youth international caps.

Advancing to the collegiate level, Enfield starred at UCLA from 2002-2004, first earning All-Pac-10 Honorable Mention for 2002 while playing a major role in leading the Bruins to the NCAA Division I National Championship.
