Figure Skating - 2015

Mission Viejo figure skater Sasha Cohen was the 2006 Olympic Games Figure Skating Silver Medalist in Turin, Italy. She finished 4th at the 2002 Winter Olympic Games.

At the World Championships from 2004 to 2006, Cohen won two silver medals and a bronze, and was 4th internationally in 2002. She won the 2002 gold medal at the World Grand Prix. After the 2006 Olympics, Sasha turned professional and performed on the ‘Champions on Ice’ and ‘Fire on Ice’ tours over the next four years.

Cohen tried a brief competition comeback in 2010, and just missed qualifying for the USA Winter Olympics team final spot, finishing 4th at the USA Trials. She was the second alternate for the Olympic and the World Championships in her return. She retired internationally for the final time after the trials.
