2006 Male Jewish High School Athlete of the Year

Winning the award as a junior, pitcher Shaun Kort was named the “Los Angeles City Player of the Year,” in 2006, leading El Camino Real to its first City Section baseball championship since 1998.

Shaun finished the season with a 10-1 won-loss record and a 1.18 ERA, while batting .456 with 11 home runs. He signed and went on to pitch for the University of Nevada.
