Klineman, Alix

Volleyball - 2015

Alexandra ‘Alix’ Klineman is currently a member of the USA National Women’s Volleyball Team, training for the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil. She was a collegiate star and All-American at Stanford University and a high school standout and All-American at Mira Costa High School.

Klineman was the 2010 ‘Volleyball Magazine’ Player of the Year as a college senior, a multi AVCA All-American, the Pac-10 Conference Player of the Year, and an All-Conference selection all four years. Klineman was also the AVCA “National Freshman of the Year”, leading the Cardinal to the NCAA Finals, and she made the NCAA All-Tournament Team.

She was the 2006 “National High School Player of the Year” at Mira Costa, and was the California State Player of the Year. Klineman has represented the USA Internationally on the USA Junior National Team and at the 2011 Pan-American Games. Alix is a former Southern California Jewish Sports Hall of Fame High School Female Athlete of the Year.
