Diamont, Alexander

2014 Male High School Athlete of the Year
Venice High School

The Venice High School quarterback was Los Angeles Division 1 All-City in 2012 and 2013. In 2013 Alex was named to the USA Football Under-19 National Team.

In 2011, he threw for 1305 years and 12 touchdowns for the Gondoliers. In 2012, the 175-pound junior signal caller registered 2,977 yards and 32 TDs. (2013 season was incomplete when the Hall of Fame went to press.) In 2013, Alexander accounted for more than 3,500 offense yards and threw 47 touchdowns.
Diamont was Los Angeles co-Player of the Year as a junior, and was rated a two-star pro-style quarterback by 247Composite, the service that combines the rankings of four major college recruiters.
He accepted a football scholarship at University of Indiana, and started his freshman year in January.
